Fire breaks out at Farmgate building

A fire broke out at a building in Dhaka’s Farmgate area this morning.
The firefighters brought the fire under control around 5:10pm that originated in the basement of Manosi plaza around 9:30am, said Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
Fire officials stated that different types of goods have been stored in the basement, which was causing disruptions to the efforts to combat the blaze.
